Yeshua Doesn’t Teach about the Festivals – The Real Commandment His Followers Must Do
Dear one; this may be shocking, but do you know that our wonderful Mashiach Yeshua, actually does no teaching about the Festivals – and certainly, nothing in any way, shape or form about his Gentile followers ‘observing the Festivals’, or using Judaica – period!
As we repeatedly repeat in our teaching: commandment more deeply in Hebrew means ‘fulfilling of which leads to fullness of life, delegation of authority while the LORD retains control; like being assigned to a (military) post’.
So then dear one, what is the real ‘fulfilling of which leads to fullness of life’ etc., that Yeshua actually does teach about and very much emphasize?
It’s something that all together, according to a Greek concordance, is mentioned a total of 345 times!

9/11 – 25 Years Later – Lessons for Yeshua’s Followers
Not long after the terrible terrible events of 9/11, someone very astutely put it well when they said that what happened was really ‘Islam against the West’. Someone shortly afterwards even more astutely said this is ‘Islam against the rest’. What the media & academia doesn’t tell you is that Islam has had major issues and problems with virtually every – every – other religious group it has encountered, with the notable exception of the Sikhs.
Probably for those under 35 and certainly those 30 and under, 9/11 is not something you experienced. Your parents and older siblings did, but if you are in that age group of 30 and under, it is something you’ve heard of, it is history, but again – not a day you experienced
In May of 2001 my very dear wife and I went with a group of brothers and sisters from the Messianic assembly we involved with at the time, to Boston’s Logan Airport to take the first leg of flights to Israel.
My wife and I had gone in late 1999 to Israel via El Al, Israel’s national airline, out of New York. The difference in security between the two airports was almost night and day. I still very well remember waiting to board the flight to Israel from Boston, looking around and saying to my wife,” You know if someone had a half of mind it wouldn’t be that hard to hijack a plane out of here”…..
Four months later, 2 of the 4 planes used in the 9/11 attacks were hijacked by radical Muslim terrorists from Boston’s Logan Airport….
What are some extremely key lessons for followers of Yeshua, how do they apply today – 25 years after 9/11?
As followers of Yeshua Hamashiach, we are filled with the Ruach Hakodesh, the original Hebrew name of the Holy Spirit. ‘The’ in Hebrew more deeply means ‘the positive bearer of existence actuality’. Filled with the Ruach Hakodesh, we are not concerned with theological abstractions, but rather, the Big Picture spiritually, of what’s known in Hebrew as ‘this World’.
What happened on 9/11 was an too concrete reality of the spiritual warfare that is literally being played out before our eyes! Islam and Muslims are no more monolithic than Jews and Judaism and Christians and Christianity are. Certainly not all Muslims are terrorists.
That said, the word ‘Islam’ in Arabic means ‘submission’. Very ironically as unfortunately and tragically – and Biblically in fact very incorrectly – much of what eventually became Western Religious Tradition, sees itself as ‘Replacing Israel.’ Islam sees itself as replacing Christianity. While Islam sees Yeshua as a prophet · as well as Moshe – it sees Mohammad as the supposed ‘final and true prophet’.
Dear one: if meaning if in fact, we are filled with the Ruach Hakodesh, we should be able to see and discern that what has been going on in the world for the last two to three decades – and amplified that much more so after October 7th – is, Big Picture spiritual warfare being played out right before our eyes!
What’s been going on in the world especially since October 7th, should remind us that 9/11– in no way shape or form– was merely a ‘one off’ by a small group of ‘religious fanatics’.
As we point out in our teaching; the very Hebraic Koine ‘Common’ Greek of Rev. 12:9 tells us, that the Enemy deceives the inhabited world as a habitual part of his character. Dear one: the deception is not something ‘in the future’, it is present – now – and continual.
As we also point out: Rev. 12 shows us that the Enemy seeks to destroy Israel, because Israel gave birth to our wonderful Mashiach Yeshua.
The Enemy seeks to destroy Israel because as we also point out, the RCS (Renewed Covenant Scriptures; a much more Biblically accurate term – based on Luke’s Greek of Lk.22:19–20, than ‘New Testament’, as we explain in our teaching), for these reasons.
As we also point out and teach on in our first of 8 Windows, which is very focused on Yeshua, Yeshua remains part of the whole of the Jewish People – now, in the Heavens. See Rev. 5:5 & 22:16 (Heaven in Hebrew is plural. Cf. what the Pharisee Paul (Acts 23:6 etc.) writes in the opening of 2 Cor. 12).
Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times – over 700 times (!) in the Bible. It is more than clear, that Yeshua is coming back to rule and reign from Jerusalem – not, from the U.S. Bible Belt! Cf. Zech. 14, cf. Ish. 2:2–3 et al., et al. Cf. esp. Ezekiel. Cf. esp. Rev. 21–22 (we have very original, Greek text-based teaching on the Heavenly Jerusalem revealed to us in Revelation 21. Recent polls since October 7th unfortunately consistently show, that less than 30% of Christians under 30, think the Jewish People are, in Hebrew, God’s Specially Chosen People.
Far far far too many of my dear Christian brethren are deceived by the slanted, skewed, Agenda and lies of the media & academia about Israel and the Palestinians! Dear ones: please let us reiterate speaking the truth in love Eph. 4:15.
That is, that followers of Yeshua, filled with the Ruach Hakodesh, should be well well aware that most of the secular media & academia lies about Israel, just as it lies about following Yeshua – and about you dear one – if you are follower!
