The picture above was chosen because it shows areas very near and dear to Yeshua’s heart; the Temple area of Jerusalem, the residences nearby, etc. The photo looks east towards the “Har Tz’itim” “Mount of Olives”. Both the Gospels and Acts 1 speak of the Mount of Olives. We specifically wanted a picture including the Mount of Olives for very “key reasons”.
Yeshua’s very last teaching was done there. He ascended from there. It is where he will (may it be soon!) return! Cf. Acts 1:1-12.
Luke 19:41 tells us Yeshua wept when he looked west a mile away to Jerusalem (from about halfway down the Mount of Olives).
