Greetings to all in the name of Yeshua. Hope you and yours are well!
A 25-year-old Orthodox Jewish student named Yehuda Dimentman, who had a wife and a toddler, was shot to death by Arab last night after study with some fellow Jews.
An Arab terrorist shot up the car that Yehuda and a couple of his friends were in on their way back to Shavei Shomron (“Returnees of Samaria”), a West Bank settlement in Samaria. Samaria is the middle third of the northern part of Israel just north of Judea, where Jerusalem is, in the middle of Israel, and south of the Galil “Galilee”, the northernmost part of Israel that borders Lebanon and to the Northeast the Golan Heights in Syria.
The settlement is not far from the Palestinian City of Nablus, which is known in the Torah as Shechem (“Shoulder”), where the Torah tells us Jacob traveled to Gen. 33:18.
West of Nablus is another well-known Palestinian City, Tulkarum.
Because a dead body in the Torah is considered in Hebrew in part, a pollution and contamination, Jews are buried very quickly; in Israel especially sometimes even the same day.
By the way, the two Hebrew words which are much much deeper than clean and unclean, found very much in Leviticus, are used in the Renewed Covenant Scriptures in Koine Greek 68 and 45 times respectively.
“Kathariso” “clean”, used again 68 times, is used more than four times the number of uses of lalein glossai, “speaking tongues” (in Greek there’s no “the”), used 16 times.
Some years ago, my wife and I spent a wonderful Sabbath and weekend with a Jewish Brother and his wife who live in an area where if the Israeli government one day God forbid, turns over that area, he receives nothing for his house. The settlement they lived on was on top of a very huge hill. Northern Israel especially, is filled with beautiful hills and very rugged valleys!
There was an Arab village down below in the valley. Israeli Defense Forces had an outpost in this settlement because of its location and high height. My spiritual brother showed me where barbed wire had been set up to try to prevent anyone from the village below sneaking up to attack in the middle of the night.
We rented a car in Jerusalem because our brother and sister had some things they needed to do there and I will never forget the following.
Before leaving the settlement, from which you could see the lights of Tel Aviv off in the distance to the West, our brother’s wife said “Shmuel,,, did you remember to take the gun? Did you remember to take the bullets?” (He carried a .357, because it has serious stopping power if, God forbid, he had to shoot someone).
He told me if Palestinians stone his car he’s not allowed to shoot back, only to shoot over their heads. He can only shoot back if shot at, then he needs to let Israeli Defense Forces know ASAP where it happened.
People have no idea what Jews who simply want to return to the land given us in the Bible, have to endure! Speaking the truth in love Eph. 4:15, Americans would never put up with it!
Very quickly for here, Winston Churchill gave back 78% of the land the British had promised the Jews. Modern day Jordan came about because the British wanted to placate a couple of Hashemite sheiks.
I must quickly point out that these are areas are not near where tourists typically visit. Israel frankly is safer for tourists than many American cities.
It is now the Sabbath in Israel and another Jewish Family is mourning the loss of a loved one to terrorists, or having been killed while serving in the Israeli Defense Forces.
Virtually every family in Israel – every family – either has lost someone to terrorism or while serving in the Israeli Defense Forces or knows a family that has.
In short for here, Palestinian leadership misleads and too often mistreats its own people. The Palestinians have tremendous potential but they will never achieve it with the leadership and the demonic hatred not only of Israelis, but of all Jews – period – that Palestinians are raised on from the time they’re very young.
When the Israeli security forces capture the gunman – and they will (!) – his family’s house will be blown up though they will receive a phone call an hour before hand warning them. If the gunman is killed by Israeli Security forces in the process of arresting him, he will be considered a martyr and his family will be compensated by the Palestinian Authority.
As a quick FYI, I had heard something that Congress was trying to prevent funds given to the PA from being used for anything related to terrorism.
It’s well known that the Palestinian Authority is hugely corrupt and there is a well-known term in Arabic in the Arab world “baksheesh” “bribe”, without which often times things don’t get done.
Bribes in fact are what’s needed in too many parts of the world to get something accomplished.
Please pray for the family of Yehuda Dimentman, and for what’s known in Hebrew has a “whole loosening healing”, for those wounded in the attack.
Please also remember that Yehuda Dimentman is part of the same people Yeshua Hamashiach not only came through and was part of the whole of, but still is very much identified with in Heaven – Rev. 5:5, 22:16.
