The Son of the God of Israel Yeshua, as the Angel of the LORD in Genesis 16:12, appears to Hagar, mother of Ishmael. Ishmael will become the father of the Arabs. Yeshua says to Hagar that her son will be a wild ass of a man.
The Hebrew for ‘wild ass’ refers to a particular type of donkey. It is one that is very swift – and so wild it can’t be domesticated. ‘Man’ in Hebrew isn’t necessarily an individual!; it’s used more for ‘mankind’.
Yeshua also says Hagar’s son (Ishmael) hand will be against everyone and everyone’s hand against him (Ishmael). Is this not what we’ve seen since 9/11 especially?
I can tell you from very first-hand experience in Israel; on a scale of 1 to 10 for emotions, the Arabs/Palestinians as a whole, are a 15!
You witnessed this type of wild emotions with the too often out of control anti-Israel pro-Hamas demonstrations after Oct 7.
Dear one – what you are seeing in very real time and played out before us, is Big Picture spiritual warfare! Revelation 12 makes it more than very clear: the Enemy seeks to destroy the Woman, who symbolizes Israel, and in Greek the Enemy – who is repeatedly and consistently specifically identified as such – seeks literally to eat her male child. The male child is symbolic of the Son of God Yeshua, the Mashiach. He not only comes from the Jewish People – which Scripture is abundantly clear about – in the original languages – Yeshua is still, part of the whole of the Jewish People!
In Revelation 5:5 and 22:16, in short: in the Greek text a total of 3 times Yeshua is specifically identified with the Jewish People!
It should be noted – Yeshua is already in Heaven when this is written, in the late 80’s early 90’s 1st century.
Rev. 12:9 in Greek specifically identifies the Enemy. He and his angels have been cast/thrust down to the inhabited world (I.e., Earth). It says that the Enemy deceives the world! This is expressed in Greek according to a technical commentary, which indicates and emphasizes the action of deception, rather than a description of it.
Further, it is present (I.e., going on now), and ‘present… indicates a continuous action that has become a habitual character.
This can clearly be seen – or should be dear one – by the huge huge rise In anti-Semitism around the world! Followers of Yeshua are not exempt!
During the anti- Israel/pro-Hamas demonstrations at Columbia University In New York in the Spring of 2024, I saw a young man holding a sign ‘Evangelicals for Palestine’.
How sad and ironic; there is no ‘Palestine’ in the Bible. This young man’s Lord and Savior is divinity come to Earth as a Jew (Mt.1:1-17, Lk.1-2 etc., Rom.1:3, 9:4, 2 Tim.2:8), from the Galil in Israel!
Yeshua is not returning to Ramallah (headquarters of the Palestinian Authority, about 25 minutes north of Jerusalem) or Gaza – Yeshua is returning to Jerusalem to rule and reign!
Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in the Bible.
Hopefully dear one, if you read Revelation 12 and consider the immediately above, it’s no wonder that we see Big Picture spiritual warfare being played out in real time!
Is it any wonder why the Enemy seeks to not God forbid, only destroy Israel, but the Jewish People as a whole?
The Enemy is using the media & academia to turn people against Israel and the Jewish People. Here’s a fact you should find interesting and telling: Did you know the UN has passed more resolutions against Israel, than every other nation – combined!
More resolutions by the UN have been passed against Israel, than Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, Cuba etc., combined.
That tells you in a sentence all you need to know about the UN….
The so-called Palestinians and the rest of the enemies of Israel and the Jewish People of course need to be loved and prayed for, as our wonderful Mashiach Yeshua teaches us Mt. 5:43-48.
