The “Sea of Galilee” is known and called in Israel the “Kinneret”. This is because the Sea is shaped like the “kinnor”, the small harp King David carried with him. David composed many of his “Shine Forth – Songs of Praise” (“Psalms”) on his harp. The Galil (“Galilee”) was Yeshua’s home area in Israel. N’tzret (“Nazareth”) is about five miles west of the Sea.
