Blessed Be the True Judge
Four Israeli soldiers, at least 3 of whom were only 19-20 years old, were killed by terrorists in northern Azza who were attacking an Israeli tank.
This now brings the total IDF members killed in both Azza, and in southern Lebanon fighting Hezbollah since October 7, to just over 900. This is equivalent proportionally to 45,000 (not a typo) US soldiers.
I always have Jacob (not ‘James’) 3:1 in front of me. Jacob’s Greek begins for emphasis with a prohibition against many becoming teachers; they will receive stricter judgement. Thus, it’s critical that I give you only the truth and the facts.
Clarification
The Islamic principle of Waqf basically specifies that one who donates land or a building for a charitable purpose does not take that back; the gift is immutable. Charitable uses of Waqf are how more moderate Muslims interpret and use the principle of Waqf.
Waqf is not taken directly from a verse in the Qur’an (the most Arabic spelling for the Koran), but draws from a verse that speaks of being righteous and giving to Allah.
Charity is a key principle of Islam as it is in Judaism. In Judaism the word for righteousness is used. This is because it is seen that if the LORD has blessed one materially, it is only ‘right’ that one use a part of that to help another in need.
In the Torah the LORD in certain situations allows an Israelite to redeem back something pledged. This generally requires adding one fifth the value of what is redeemed.
However, the more radical extend Waqf to mean land once owned by Muslims is ‘immutable’; it cannot be returned, it must remain with Muslims.
The British defeated the famed Turkish Ottoman – and Muslim – Empire in WW1. The Ottoman Turks controlled Israel for about 300 years before WWI. The British appointed a Grand Mufti of Jerusalem as the Muslim religious leader of Jerusalem. He instigated murderous riots against Jews in Jerusalem. Why? Jews returning from persecution in Europe, began to outnumber Muslims in Jerusalem. The British watched the riots and did nothing…
It should be noted: there was at that time no State of Israel, no IDF, no ‘Netanyahu’; no so-called ‘Occupation’. So then; why were there riots and Jews murdered in the 1920’s? If today’s terrorism and October 7 are ‘justified’ by ’80 years of Occupation’, why then did Arab Muslims murder Jews in Israel when there had been no ’80 years of Occupation and oppression’, in the 1920s?
Obviously, something else was actually behind it….
The Grand Mufti met with Hitler. He told Hitler to kill Jews faster. He offered land in the Middle East to do so. Hitler refused to shake hands after the meeting and considered the Grand Mufti a ‘dog’. (The Grand Mufti wasn’t an Aryan. Yet Hitler said Yeshua was an Aryan).
The Grand Mufti invoked the waqf principle to the Land of Israel as thus ‘immutable’ for Muslims. This meant Jews cannot own land in Israel – period. Under Waqf, land sold to Jews before the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 – even at exorbitant prices – is not considered a legitimate sale. This land too ‘must be returned to Muslims’.
Radical Muslims think the Land of Israel must be returned to Muslims ‘for Allah’. The fact that it’s Jews in the Land of Israel, based on what some verses in the Qur’an say about Jews tremendously upsets radical Muslims. We know this is about spiritual warfare.
Based on a couple of verses in the Qur’an, though also called ‘the people of the Book’, radical Muslims see Jews especially as those that must be attacked and driven out whenever Jews are seen.
Christianity interpreted Mt. 27:25 ‘his blood on us and on our children’ (there’s no ‘be on us’ in the Greek text) as a basis to butcher Jews over the centuries….
As we mentioned previously, Arafat subscribed to the waqf idea about the Land of Israel. His successor in the Palestinian Authority Abu Mazen holds to it.
Waqf, radically interpreted regarding the Land of Israel, is incorporated into Hamas’ charter. Hamas states in its charter – along with killing not only Israelis but all Jews – that ‘Palestine’ is sacred land to Allah. Palestinian Muslims, who make up 99% or more of Azzans, voted for Hamas.
Azzans knew Hamas was not about peace, love and brotherhood. They didn’t vote for Hamas with any desire for or as the means to a ‘two state solution’.
Key Facts the Media & Academia Doesn’t Tell You
If the ‘justification’ for homicide bombers and October 7 is ‘Occupation by the Israelis’ why do Palestinian Muslims riot and murder Jews in Israel – long before there’s even a State of Israel?
In the 1860’s – and again in 1929 – Muslims rioted and murdered Jews in the Biblical city of Chevron (‘Hebron’) in the southern part of Judea.
Why? There was no State of Israel, no IDF, no so called ’80 years of Occupation’. So, why murder Jews? We know it’s spiritual warfare. We also know in that context, what the media & academia don’t – and won’t – say. That the issue – and problem – is, the intractability of radical Islam…
If it’s about ’80 years of Occupation’ by the Israelis, how does that ‘justify’ Palestinian Muslims pressuring/forcing a very small Palestinian Christian minority out of their areas?
More Very ‘Key’ Facts
‘Palestine’ is not an Arabic name. It comes from Syria Palestina, the name given to Israel by the Roman conquers after the final Jewish revolt in the early 2nd century. The Romans used the name to try to eliminate the Jewish connection with Israel.
There’s never been a state of Palestine – period. Period.
Prior to WWI four different Muslim groups controlled Israel over a 1,300-year period, with the exception of less than 100 years by the Crusaders.
None of these Muslim groups – none – ever set up a Palestinian state. They did not allow their fellow Muslims to set up their own State of Palestine.
Yet, the ‘problem’ is ’80 years of ‘Occupation’ by the Israelis?
Sadly, their own fellow Muslims don’t want the Palestinians. 22 – 22 – Muslim majority Muslim countries in North Africa and the Middle East have – steadfastly – refused to take Palestinian refugees. The Palestinian refugee problem was overwhelmingly made by the 5 Muslim armies (Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt) who sought to destroy Israel shortly after its establishment in 1948.
The UN had a plan that gave more land for the Palestinians than for the Jews. For Jews it was enough; they’d take what they could get – gladly. For Arab Muslims? ‘It’s not enough’.
78% of the land promised to Jews after WWI by the British is taken back to placate 2 Hashemite sheiks the British thought they might need. The Jews said ‘we’ll take it’. The response of Arab Muslims? ‘It’s not enough’.
By the way what happened with the 78% of the land that was taken back by the British? It became modern day Jordan. Jordan is 70% Palestinian.
It can thus be argued that the real Occupation is the Palestinian occupation of Jordan! It can also be argued that the Palestinians had 2 States: Jordan, and, Azza.
In 2005 Israel pulled out of Azza to leave Azza to the Palestinians. What did the Palestinians do with it? Did they establish a State of Palestine? No; they allow Hamas in, who fires 1,000s – many 1,000s – of rockets at Israel.
The Egyptians were offered Azza by the Israelis after the 1973 Yom Kippur War; the Egyptians absolutely refused it. Egypt built a wall at the southern end of Azza to keep Palestinian Muslims in Azza out of Egypt.
A Sadly Very Inconvenient Truth
Again please: nobody wants to take in the Palestinians. After seeing the protests in the Spring of 2024, you get an idea why fellow Muslims don’t want Palestinian Muslims. The Palestinians tragically – very tragically – are their own worst enemy….
As followers of Yeshua while staunchly supporting Israel, as our Jewish and Israeli Mashiach Yeshua first taught his fellow Jews of the Galil, and by extension teaches us Mt. 5:43-48, we must love and intercede in prayer, for our enemies.
Please – pass this on to as many people as you can!
We also have on the top half of our website Homepage assemblywithoutthewalls.org, an 8-part podcast series “Spiritual Warfare – Israel and the Palestinians – What You Need to Know – and Why”.
It includes podcasts on Israel’s many contributions to the world – including to your technology – that the media & academia don’t tell you!
Thank you again!
